"Is it really possible to explain the world?

And if it is, what would be really need to?"

TAKUMA NAKAHIRA

This quote from the Japanese photograph and critic is the starting point of this photographic series, in which I reflect about the possibilities of the photographic art to represent and understand the world.

Through the compilation of random and completely unexpected images analogue photography sometimes gives us, considered as simple photographic fails by the vast majority, I make visible the impossibility to fully explain the world through images, and I defend photography as a creative element -even unconsciously- moving away from the idea of a simply representative tool.
